Pool automation installation and pool heater repair and installation in San Jose, CA

Pool Automation & Heater Solutions
Automation and heaters
Pump, heat, lights and spa on one panel or your phone, programmed properly and explained.
An automation system runs the pump schedule, the heater, the lights and the spa changeover from one panel or an app. Set up well, it saves energy and it means the spa is hot when you want it, not forty minutes later.
Set up badly, it is a box of buttons nobody in the house understands. We install and program automation and then show you how to use it, and we stay available for the questions that come up afterwards.

What we look at
Inside the equipment.
The parts we check first, and what each one tells us when it starts to go.
- Controller. Schedules, spa mode, heat settings and app control. We program it for how you use the pool.
- Relays. Switch the pump, lights and heater. A failed relay looks like a dead pump.
- Valve actuator. Turns the valves between pool and spa. When spa mode stops working, we check here first.
- Temperature sensor. Tells the system the real water temperature. A bad reading means a cold spa or a heater that never stops.
- Exhaust vent. Has to stay clear. Nests, debris and soot here affect how the heater fires.
- Control board. Error codes tell us where to start: ignition, pressure, flow or temperature.
- Heat exchanger. Water chemistry matters most here. Scale and corrosion shorten its life.
- Burner tray. Cleaned and checked when a heater clicks but will not light, or lights and drops out.
Gas heater or heat pump?
A gas heater warms water fast, which suits spas and pools that are heated now and then. A heat pump heats slowly but costs far less to run, which suits keeping a pool warm through the season. Many pools with an attached spa use one or the other depending on how they are used. We will talk it through with you before recommending either.
